1. Finding Your Way
While Fogbound Fables uses small pages on various platforms as a means of promoting and anchoring the group (e.g. DeviantArt, ToyHouse, etc.), the game is spread across three spots only.
Discord server
The game itself is played on Discord. The server contains dedicated channels for each activity, as well as general channels and roleplay forums.
Static information is hosted on the game's website, including permanent activity info, lore, locations, etc.
Website
Dynamic information is hosted on Fogbound Keeper. This database contains characters, user inventories, as well as currently active time-limited events.

2. Understanding the World
Fogbound Fables is never played with just one character - you will always have a human Handler wielding up to two Lokaji - sentient weapons capable of shifting their form into griffons.

As a new player, you are granted x1 Handler slot, which allows you to create one Handler within default character limitations.

To give your Handler any extraordinary traits (such as knightly order membership, noble lineage, or uncommon appearance or abilities), you would need to purchase a boon from our Fated Favours store.

You cannot play your Handler without a Lokaj. Your Handler automatically starts with one slot for a Lokaj, but unlike with Handlers, you cannot simply create a custom Lokaj from scratch - it must first officially exist in the group in the form of a Cast, a series of information detailing the Lokaj's appearance and traits.

You can obtain a Cast by trading it with or buying it from other players, or by adopting one from Steelchanter's Offer.
3. Taking Your First Step
Develesja is waiting for you! If you like what you have read so far and are interested in joining the game, feel free to enter the Discord server by using the link below. There, you will be asked to read over a set of server rules and to pick a role for yourself, which will give you access to the rest of the server.

Once you are in the server, you can pick up your very first Lokaj and dive right into the adventures that await you and your characters here!
